Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Orbit website (orbit-app.dev), your Orbit account, and any Pro subscription. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them.
The short version
- Orbit is currently free for everyone, with no account and no card, running on your own Claude or Codex sub.
- Nothing is charged today. If we add paid plans later, we'll describe the price and any trial here first, with notice.
- Orbit is software provided as-is, and may change or be discontinued.
- Orbit runs your own Claude Code or Codex agent; you're responsible for those accounts and their providers' terms.
- Orbit is not affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI.
1. Agreement
By accessing this website or creating an Orbit account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or create an account. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Aigenize, the operator of Orbit.
2. What Orbit is
Orbit is a native macOS application that runs your existing coding agent (Claude Code or Codex) locally and makes everything it does understandable on a canvas. This website exists to describe the product and to let you create an account, download the app, and manage your plan.
3. Plans & billing
Orbit is currently free for everyone: the full app, including the multi-agent canvas, runs on your own Claude or Codex subscription at no cost and with no card required. We may introduce paid plans in the future, with notice; if we do, the terms below describe how billing would work.
Free trial. New Pro subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. The trial requires a valid payment method, and unless you cancel before it ends it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price shown when you signed up. You can cancel at any time from your account, which stops future charges.
Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you chose until cancelled. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period. We may change plan prices or features on a going-forward basis and will give notice of material changes before they affect you.
Some accounts created from our pre-launch waitlist hold a complimentary lifetime Pro grant. That grant is honoured at our discretion and may be revoked for abuse. The waitlist is closed to new sign-ups.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and provide a valid email address that is yours to use.
5. Pre-release software
Orbit is pre-release software offered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. It may contain bugs, change without notice, lose features, or be discontinued. Nothing on this site is a commitment that any feature shown will ship or behave as depicted.
6. Third-party agents & services
Orbit requires your own installation of, and account with, a coding agent: Claude Code (from Anthropic) or Codex (from OpenAI). Your use of those agents is governed by Anthropic's and OpenAI's respective terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them and for any usage or costs they incur.
Orbit is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI, and those companies are not responsible for Orbit. This site also relies on third-party infrastructure (such as our hosting and database providers) whose terms apply to their portion of the service.
7. Acceptable use
When using this website, you agree not to:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Create accounts you're not entitled to, use someone else's email, or spam, abuse, or flood our sign-up, sign-in, or billing endpoints.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Orbit or Aigenize.
8. Intellectual property
The Orbit name, logo, and the content of this website are owned by Aigenize and protected by applicable law. Using the site or holding an account grants you no license to our trademarks or content. "Claude", "Claude Code", "Anthropic", "OpenAI", and "Codex" are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe compatibility.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, the app, and any plan are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site or product will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aigenize and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) this website, your account, or any subscription, even if advised of the possibility.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Aigenize's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, please contact us at info@aigenize.com so we can try to resolve it directly and in good faith.
